Lazy Weekdays...

To say that I was lazy during the week is an understatement. We really did nothing. Scott would come home at the end of the day and ask what we did... I had nothing - if we ever left the house it was to take Jack to school or pick him up from school. Other than that... nothing. And you know what? I loved every second of it. We played toys, we watched movies, we cooked goodies, we ate goodies, we slept... yep, we were L.A.Z.Y.

My friend Melis came out with her boy Jack.

Both Jacks played iphone & itouch. Not really the way I played with my friends when they came over... but for kids these days, I guess it works.  Ha ha.
And here we go... I chopped my hair. Its just above my shoulders. Its a big shock. A week later, and I am still shocking. We also added some golden locks. Double shock. I look in the mirror... short hair + blonde = wow. But Melis did great. I have had lots of compliments, that must mean something good right? I need to take a pic and post. I will, but let me get out of my lazy streak first. :)
Bonnie came and played. My kids love Bonnie. She has so much energy its hard not to enjoy every bit of life when this little girl is around. I love it!
Scott came home from school one day craving some good homemade pizza. So what did we do? 2 words... Trader. Joes. They have the best dough for crust, the tastiest pizza sauce, and well pretty much everything else makes everything you make le-git.
The kids wanted to decorate some cookies... but remember that laziness that I was talking about? We did decorate, but used graham crackers & store bought frosting in stead. The kids could have cared less... they loved it. And to be honest... I might prefer a graham cracker with frosting over the actual cookie. Try it... its go-od.
Thats it for our week days.

I hope your week was more productive than mine ;)

Oh Mccall...i love the ''lazy cookies''. that should be their new name. hilarious!!
i love weeks like that. really, they are the best. live them up while your kids are still somewhat young. Because when you pay for all of the after school activities soon...then lazy days become a little harder to justify. ha!
your kids are getting so big. They are adorable mccall! hope school is treating you guys as well as it treating us. i love this simple life.
xoxo
