Clara's Hair Cut

I was giving Jackson a hair cut the other night, and decided that it was time for Clara to have a cut as well. This was her first official hair cut.... I have never wanted to cut it, but whoa did she need it! So -- we cut off about 1 1/2 inches. It makes a huge difference when I style it -- otherwise she still looks like the typical disaster that she was before. :)

Okay.... it's that time. My current obsessions.

Brow Zings. I guarantee this will make your eyebrows look amazing. Even if they are in need of a good wax. You can find it at Sephora. 

 M.A.C. Gel Line. One word .... UNBELIEVABLE. I love this stuff. I am not gonna lie - it took me a good amount of practicing before I figured out how to make a nice straight line... but now that I can do it- I am a pro... a couple seconds and voila - perfection. 

 High protein. No Sugar. Amazing taste. YES PLEASE. The chunky peanut butter is my favorite. You can find them at: Trader Joe's. Sprouts (usually cheaper than Trader Joe's. Smiths Market Place (in the natural food section by the rest of the protein bars). 

 Donna Karen deodorant. Lasts all day... no I am not kidding. Even better... it lasts through out an entire work out. For reals. Try it - but get it from Nordy's, they have the best price... I think $12. 

 A few years ago I sold my Microdermabrasion machine. It's been totally depressing not being able to do it whenever I want. BUT then I found this nice little product (at Target!) and I have to say... not too shabby. For an at home kit... it's the best I have used. Try it. Your skin will feel like butta!

Magic Eraser. I have NO CLUE how this sponge works -- but seriously. IT'S MAGIC... the name does not lie. I use it on my walls, baseboards, cuboards, sinks, bathtubs... pretty much everywhere.... and it cleans everything. It's amazing. 

OKAY... there you have it. Try ALL of the above - and you will thank me. OR you can also thank Jenny ... most of which were originally tried because of her blog. I don't know how she finds these things - but she somehow has the best of the best. She just knows -- ya know? Hmmm... anyways. Guests....

We had our first guests stay with us over Labor Day. The Calverts. They are good friends that we met out here in Cali but it is time for them to move on with their lives to... BOSTON! Hoo-ray for them. We had so much fun having our first guests stay at our house! Jackson and Clara loved having Bonnie stay with us and were so sad when they realized that she wasn't coming back for another sleepover.

Labor Day

LABOR DAY. SO FUN.

Back at it....

We love Disneyland -- but not during the summer. Its hot and crowded... two things that don't go well with kids. But summer is over and school is back in session... so -- we are back to our regular visits.

Jacksons new fav ride is Goofy's Sky Coaster.... It is my LEAST favorite.

Our new favorite ride as a family is the Ferris Wheel. The carts slide back and forth -- its hilarious. Clara was so funny to watch.

 We love the parades.

We met up with one of Scotts friends from high school that was in town. It was so fun to see their cute family and help them get around Disney on a Friday night with a bit more ease. I guess with all our "experience" we know how things work.
**If anyone ever needs help planning a trip there - please let me know! It can be overwhelming your first time.
We stayed until 11:30 pm... got stuck in the parking garage for 1 hour and didn't get home until 1:00 am. It was a long night.

What is bed head?

THIS IS BED HEAD. 

I see this every morning... and sometimes I just leave it like that for the whole day. When I brush through it - I am sure the whole neighborhood can hear her scream.... its pure torture.
