Day 1

My sister came and went. I can't believe she is already gone. It was so fun having her and the kids here to visit. It had only been 5 minutes after we had said goodbye that Jackson came to me crying and said that he missed his Uncle Abo and AJ.

But here is a re-cap of our fun together.

Day 1 was spent in Newport. The weather was a bit chilly... but that didn't stop us. We walked along the boardwalk. Walked the pier. Played in the sand. Searched the rocks. Played at a park. Looked at the yatchs and sail boats. Ate donuts... and were attacked by the seagulls and pigeons that stole our donuts. It was a fabulous yet... exhausting day.

LA Port

We didn't have time to stop because my mom and Grandma needed to head home. But we did drive through the Port of Los Angelos. It was an amazing sight, Scott and I want to come back and explore another day.Leaving on a cruise from LA - this is probley where you will go out of.

A shot from the freeway.

And finally - after a long day of driving in the car... Clara is finally asleep. And Jackson is content with his movies, he is a great little traveler.

Thank you Grandma Rose and Mom for a great weekend. I loved seeing all the old stomping grounds. I loved hearing your stories. Most of all I loved spending time with you.

Park on the Ocean

After our drive through Rolling Hills we went out to a park that looks over the ocean. It was an amazing sight!

Swings with a view. What could be better?

Looking down onto the beach below.

Mom and Grandma Rose... look closely and you can see Catalina Island in the back.
Four Generations. I think my sister Melissa has a 5 generation picture with my Great Grandma. But 4 generations is still pretty cool. :) Especially when you name your daughter after your amazing Grandma. :)
