Goodbye Kasie!

One of my friends moved away. She is still in California, but this state is just too darn big!
Kasie you will be missed!
*Kasie is in the back on the left, just across from me.

The Country Side of our Family

We love Judd & Cami. They are always so willing to let us tag along when its time for feeding the horses and cows.

Me. Jackson. Henry. Melissa.
Clara is Judd's little buddy. Cami is pregnant on although I am so excited for them to have a little boy added to their family, I selfishly wish she couldn't have kids.... so that Clara could always fill that spot for Judd. Ha ha.
The kids loved every second of it. No matter how cold it was.... and believe me, it was FREEZING!
It was calving season. One day we went and this little cow was just 1 day old. Judd picked it up and put it in the back of the truck for the kids to pet.
 Of course, Clara was obsessed!
The kids loved pushing the hay out of the truck for the animals to eat. They were such great helpers!

Judd let each of the kids sit on a horse. Clara sat on Sally.... and continues to ask about her daily.
I can't remember the name of this horse.
And of course after each long day... the kids were EXHAUSTED!!! The older kids had a "sleepover" in the loft each night, and loved it!

Auntie McCall

I had so much fun with all these little ones. They are all so cute and so unique. I love watching their relationships grow as they get older. Henry & Jackson both have such sweet and tender spirits and I hope they create a good example for all the crazy ones that came after... :)

I miss my little nieces and nephews.

Ice Castles in Midway

My mom took us all to the Ice Castles in Midway. They were awesome! We all loved it!
Henry. Jackson. Jetta. Clara. AJ.
Me in the awesome tunnel.
 Candice. Henry. AJ. Jack. Jetta.
 Single Mom with two kids.
 Nana w/ Grandkids.
 Snow Angels.
 Jetta. Clara.

Lehi

We spent some time in Lehi with friends from our old area. Jackson and Clara loved seeing their old friends and running around from house to house.

Shannon was our favorite babysitter... she was Clara's favorite!

Easten. Jackson. Brendan.

Jackson asked me multiple times if we could go back to the Dinosaur Museum... so we did.
And the kids enjoyed getting dirty in the sand.

After living in Lehi for over 3 years and going to the Dinosaur Museum multiple times, we have never seen the shark. I never realized there was a "sea life" section after the sand...
Girls night. Thank you Taylor for taking on all 3 kids so that I could have a nice night out with the girls!
We had so much fun with our friends. Thank you Taylor & Jessie for hosting a wonderful week!

With the Neff Family

We spent a weekend at my sister Candice's house. One of the nights we went with the Neff family to the Rhode Island Diner in Oakley. It was so cute, and the food was good. After the diner we went to Candice's Brother-in-laws cabin in Midway. The kids had so much fun!

Jackson loves Carden.
 Eating breakfast.
 Sledding.
 Beautiful view.
 Me & Clara.
 Carden, Jackson, Anna, Christian.
Cousins in the bath together... wearing swimsuits :)
Taina-Jade, AJ, Adam. This is how they all fell asleep one night.
We always have so much fun with the Neff's. Thanks for a great weekend Adam & Candice!

February 5th

Jessie & Clara at Brody's 2 year Circus Birthday Party!
 Jackson & Parker.
The birthday boy!!!Of course he is loving all the attention as everyone sings happy birthday!
Check out the crowd! And a lot of people had already left or were in the basement. This is one popular dude!
My dad's birthday! There is supposed to be one more number on that cake... but I broke it. But who really wants to see their age as it goes up each year, right?
Cami & Judd got the brilliant idea to spin the kids around in the blanket. They were loving it!
And then Cami & Judd did a full circle....
 And the fun stopped :(
 Jackson & Clara with Papa.
Clara loves Shyane. Good thing this dog does well with kids that torture... because Clara gave it to her.

Without My Valentine

I guess a marriage isn’t truly complete until the husband hacks into the wife’s blog and posts something embarrassing and/or extremely inappropriate. In light of Valentines Day, I’ll have to save that for another time but I do want to express to my amazing wife just how lucky I am to have her in my life. For the past few weeks she has been in Utah visiting family and I have been missing her and the kids like crazy.  In my lonely weeks of bachelorhood I have come to appreciate even more how awesome of a wife McCall is to me and how much she does for me on a daily basis. Here just a few things I have come to appreciate and miss about my McCall

A clean house - I am so grateful to have a wife that is such a clean freak! Since she has been gone, let’s just say the house isn’t quite up the “McCall” standard, but it has made me appreciate how hard she works to keep the house so organized and clean and I am so grateful for the clean laundry and ironed clothes that just magically appear in my closet every week!

Home cooked meals - Lately McCall has become like this crazy master chef, cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Every day after school I really look forward to see what amazing meal she has planned out for dinner. Baby, I miss your cooking! Hot pockets and frozen pizza only last for so long!

Your warm body in bed - All right settle down, this isn’t about what you think it is. I do however; have to admit that I am the worst at being alone. I hate it period and although I have been telling you I am sleeping fine blah blah blah, I am sleeping terrible! I have realized that there is something very comforting about having the woman you love cuddled up next to you in bed. I’ve even been sleeping on your side of the bed since you’ve been gone….but it doesn’t help.

Watching her be a Mom - McCall, you are an amazing mom and I love the relationships you have with Jackson and Clara. I love coming home and hearing the stories about the fun things you do with the kids each day. Clara absolutely adores you and although I hate to admit it, I think it is very cute how she always choses her mom!! Such a momma’s girl!!

Most of all I think I just miss the little things. Like coming home and seeing her beautiful smile. Asking about her day and what she did with the kids. Telling her about my day and laughing at her as she tunes me out as I tell her all the nerdy dental stuff I am learning! McCall, you mean the world to me and although you are 2 states away you are still my Valentine and I love you!! I truly am a lucky man. See you in a week!

Your man

Midway

I took the kids for a Sunday walk in Midway. They had so much fun chasing Cheyenne (my parents dog), throwing snowballs, rolling around in the snow, and seeing the gross dead deer on the side of the road (yuck).

The only thing missing... their dad. We miss you!
