loving . . .

My "want" list is never ending these days, but here is what's at the top...

I love this website. http://lisaleonardonline.com/ ... Ladies take a look for Valentines Day and send it over to your husband as a hint ... I have found my husband needs something bold staring him right in the face, subtle hints - never works. I am wanting to re-design my bedding. I am loving this as inspiration! My friends mom put together this AMAZING cookbook. I don't have it yet - but my mom does and I stole once, and want to steal it again. I want these chairs to go around my dining table SOOOOOO badly!
Last year my IPod got stollen and I am still in desperate need of a new one! I love the green.

The list... It never ends.

Photo Shoot and "The New Do"

I think every kid goes through a "camera phase". Where all they want is to take pictures, listen to the "click" and see the fruits of their labor. Well - this is Jacks phase. Luckily while we were in AZ for Christmas we found our tank of camera from when we were first married (seriously it is HUGE), and we have since turned it into Jackson camera. He loves it and carries it around with him everywhere - probley because that is what he sees me do... and really... I take my camera EVERYWHERE! You never know what you might need to take a picture of...?

So here is the latest photo shoot... I figured this was also a good one because I can show of my new bangs that Melis (the best bang cutter ever) did for me the other week. I love them, but more importantly my other half loves them even more.

"Say Cheese".Trying to make Clara's same face ... please ignore the lovely "up the nose" shot. I know its tempting to blow this one up - but it's okay - you can pass.
Jack sticking his tongue out - but also having a hard time taking his eyes of the Basketball that is playing on the T.V. "Like Father Like Son".
Now there's those beautiful blue eyes.
And what better picture to end with then Clara and the spit-up coming down the chin. What can I say, she is my formula faucet mouth.

P.S. Jackson is currently obsessed with knowing the names of all sports teams - and if I ever try to tell him who is playing - he looks at me with this face that says - "like you know anything about the teams that are playing mom, only dad knows." Which is partly true... but I know a few of them out there... you learn alot when you live with a crazy sports fanatic.

New Onsie Designs

My friend made the most adorable onsies and of course.... I HAD TO COPY! So here is my copycat onsies for Clara...
They still need a little work... some crafty stitching, buttons, sparkles... you know the extras that make it really cute. I also added some fun things for the diaper bum. I did a couple sparkle onesies. The Peace Sign is my favorite! Oh - and I dyed a couple onsies pink for some variety.
Here is Clara wearing one in action.
And here she is with her signature pose. Two fingers in the mouth and hand behind the head.

Jessie - thanks for always letting me steal your ideas!

Busy Busy Busy

The past couple weeks have been a little cRaZy for me. I have been running around all over the place. But don't get me wrong it has been a very FUN kind of busy!

Microderms!
I started this little thing where I do microderm parties and only charge $20 ... yes thats right folks ... just $20 dollars! These little parties have kept me pretty busy, just the other week, I had three houses scheduled. It's so fun, I love it! So - now that I have made microderms incredibly affordable ... let me know if you would like to set something up!

My amazing friend Melis!
Melis just moved here from California. She lives just 5 minutes away from me and has a little Jackson that is just 6 months younger than my Jackson. They both LOVE cars, candy, trains, and all the crazy boy stuff that keeps them busy and drives us moms insane... ha ha. The other night we had her cute Jackson over at our house for a sleep over. The boys had a blast!!!!!

They took a bath together... and seriously I have never had more water out of the bath then in the bathtub... I am so glad they were having fun. They looked so cute wrapped up in their towels afterwards.

And what is a sleepover with out a delicious dinner... roman noodles... ha ha. Come on now - I just grabbed the easiest thing in the pantry. But please - notice the carrots - I did add something that was healthy. My Jackson has a spider man sleeping bag. He was so excited to get it out that he wanted to sleep in the sleeping bag, and let his friend Jackson sleep in his bed. They both looked so cute. And I think they had a lot of fun, they were up until almost 10:30 just giggling. Hoo-ray for first time sleep overs!
Cafe Rio!
My sweet friend Steph Cook came into town from AZ for a quick visit. We were able to get together with some of her friends and eat some food at delicious Cafe Rio. Steph is awesome! And I have to thank her over and over again because she introduced me to Scott... Thank you sweetheart!
Baby Shower!
My cutest pregnant friend in the whole wide world is having a baby!!!!! She is due in less than 2 weeks and was sweet enough to let me throw her a last minute baby shower! Shauna (in the yellow) was so fantastic and offered her house and helped me plan and prepare the whole thing! Thank you Shauna!
My first diaper cake! I am proud. We had yummy cupcakes, a vegetable platter, fruits, chips and dip, and of course endless amounts of CANDY!

Hoo-ray for baby Brody! Jessie I am so excited for you and can't for him to finally arrive!
EAT.TO.LIVE. cooking class
My amazing friend Melis, (that I mentioned above with the little boy Jackson) well she is a total health guru. So I had a brilliant idea and had her over at my house for a cooking/health/diet/exercise class... she was amazing. I hope everybody that came enjoyed it and for those of you that missed out, I will totally do another one, so you will get another chance!
Thanks Melis for doing this for me. You are the best!
And on top of all of that I....
- Had Jacks pre-school group at our house
- Went to the Car Show (this is definetly more of a guy thing, but it's a tradition in our family, so it makes for a fun afternoon!)
- Helped plan a progressive dinner for all the couples in the townhouses! It was a BLAST!!!! We seriously live in the best place in the whole world!
- Took on the project of finishing our front room... finally we have curtains, a new TV, a TV stand (that's an important one that goes with the TV), and some new decor for the walls! I will post some pics eventually.

So I finally have a break the next couple days. I will be enjoying my time catching up on all my DVR shows, staying in my PJ's all day, playing toys with Jackson, and enjoying Clara's sweet smile!

Jacks Talent

I put Jackson in a gymnastics class about 2 months ago. From day one his instructor has been quite impressed with his strength, listening capabilities, and how natural everything comes to him. Ha ha. This kid really is his daddy's boy!

On the bar.
Handstand. Check out that form! Miss Andrea trying to re-group the wild 2 and 3 year olds.
My little hopper.
Arms up! Balance! Don't fall!
The only way she can get these wild ones from one thing to the next is if they make a train. Otherwise they are all over the room. Poor Miss Andrea is exausted after she is done with this class.
At the end they love to put bean bags on the parachute, and then they all shake really hard to get all the bean bags to fly off.
The final cheer. WE LOVE GYMNASTICS!!!!
It is so fun to watch Jackson each week! He really is very naturally talented, I think he will be in gymnastics for a while (scott was in it all growing up as well). He is so good at listening and staying focused, his instructor says she has never seen a 2 year old that responds the way he does... way to go Jack!

Randall Family Pictures

While we were in AZ for Christmas, we did family pictures with Scotts mom. I think they turned out great! I can't decide which one I love most... I would love your opinion!

What one do you like the best?

I love the smile on Lisa's face. This really shows how she feels about her grandkids!

Thanks List for putting this together!

WELCOME 2009

GOODBYE 2008..... HELLO 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that I am so glad to see 2008 come to an end. This has been a tough year for our family, so I am 100% ready to leave this year behind and move on to the next.

We did have a few highlights from this past year...
1. Getting into our own house.
2. Welcoming our angel into the world! We love you Clara.

2009 will be an adventure for us, and we are anxiously awaiting the changes that are coming with this new year! Scott has decided to apply to dental school again. So even though we just bought our very first house, this spring we will be leaving it behind for a new place to call home! Scott is heading back to BYU this semester to take a couple classes that will help prepare him for the D.A.T., which he is planning on re-taking this spring even though his first go around was an incredible score, it is now 2 years old and we want to do all we can to get an acceptance. This has been a big decision for us, but Scott knows this is what he wants to do and I want him to be happy going to work every day, so I will do whatever it takes to get us there! It will be hard to leave my family behind, leave our brand new house, and leave old and new friends behind.... but I am trying to look at this as an adventure. So an adventure it will be!

I saw this on my friends blog, I thought it was so cute. It's a great thing to keep in mind through out this new year...

A couple other quotes that keep me going are:

"If you'll live like no one else, later you can live like no one else." -Dave Ramsey

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you have imagined." -Henry David Thoreau

"Cynics do not contribute, skeptics do not create, doubters no not achieve." -Gordon B. Hinckley said his father would always say this to him when he was younger.
