Stroller show?

So now that I am having my second child I am on a search for a double stroller. I have been looking online constantly, and really thinking about it ALL the time. I feel like everywhere I go, I am checking out other peoples strollers. A couple weekends ago I went to the car show. I am supposed to be looking at all the sweet new cars that are coming out - but instead I am lookinga t other peoples strollers! What is wrong with me?

Here are my requirements:
1. Nothing too long.
2. Nothing too wide. Most of the double jogging strollers look massive.
3. I need a carseat attachment.
4. Trays for the kids to eat snacks on for entertainment.
5. Storage underneath.
6. Easy to manuever through the isles at the mall, and mass amounts of people.
7. Somewhat light and easy to lift in and out of the car.
8. Durable!
9. Nothing over $400.00 (Have you seen the prices of double strollers! Ugh!)
10. Comfortable for the little ones to sit in.
11. Cute. Not really a requirement, and I know strollers are never really cute - but just nice looking and not too cheesy or anything.

So - if any of you have any advice for double strollers, please let me know! I would love to get some opinins.

I have to comment on this. I found it very interesting. No, I am not about to tell you that a dogs mouth is cleaner than a humans. That is in fact a myth, but I will tell you what I do know about the mouths of dogs.

Although the mouth of a typical dog is full of bacteria, it's "species specific." So, if a dog were to lick a person, most of the germs wouldn't transfer. "Bottom line -- you're more likely to get a serious illness from kissing a person than kissing a dog."

I think Jackson is just fine. Thanks for your awesome advice - but you might want to check your research first.

Introducing... Baby #2 due July 28, 2008

Yes! I am pregnant! Yes, it was planned. Yes, we will find out if its a boy or a girl. Yes, I am sooooo excited! I am 12 weeks and my belly is already starting to poke out, but who cares its gotta poke out eventually right? I am one of those people that love being pregnant. I think it is so fun to have a little growing spirit inside and beable to feel their little bodys wiggling around. Of course it is never fun to watch your body change and go through the... I just look like I ate 10 donuts for breakfast stage... and the, my boobs are bigger than my head stage... and of course the last 4 weeks (lets just not mention those for now). But besides the cramps, the sickies in the 1st trimester, the constant need to pee, the difficulty sleeping, the continual weight gain, the added fat, the swelling, and the back aches... I love being pregnant!

The second time around feels so different for me. I think I am more excited and ready for this one. With Jackson I kept wondering what I was doing. I felt like my life as I knew it was over... and I guess in a way it was, but a whole new and better part of my life began - I just didn't know it until my little baby Jack arrived. Because I "somewhat" know what I am getting into I feel as though I can actually enjoy this pregnancy rather than worry about the changes it will bring. I already feel I have a connection with my little "bug", and I can't wait meet our new little addition.

We just taught Jack to say his own name, it is so cute! He also knows my name as, "mommy randall" and Scotts name as, "daddy randall". I tried to get him to say "mommy randall" but the dog interupted us. Jack and the dog still have a love/hate relationship, but in the video it is pretty funny to watch Jackson try to get the dog to "shake"... if you want to hear the video you will have to pause or turn off my music (sorry).
I also added a second video of Jack counting. He can almost count to ten by himself. Of course, it all depends on his mood and the distractions around him - but I got a pretty good video of him doing almost all of it.

I Love Utah

Growing up I never understood what was so special about Utah. I always wanted to live anywhere but "here". I thought everywhere else was better, more fun, exciting, more beautiful... WHAT WAS I THINKING?!? I feel like this past year my eyes have been opened. Utah is incredible. I drive through Holiday (where I grew up) and I am amazed, it is incredible. I love the mountains, the 4 seasons, the snow, the green in the spring, the color in the fall, the variety... everything - I just love it. Not that other places are not as beautiful and even more so... I mean come on - the beach, a big city, the country... I know there is so much more out there than just Utah. All I am saying is, I have really come to a realization of how lucky I am to be living here right now. So, I guess what brought on all these thoughts on was some snowmobiling we did yesterday. We went up to Daniels Summit, about 10 minutes from my parents house. The whole time we were out I was amazed. Check out the pictures - incredible, right!
We got out a little late, no until about 4 pm... so we were not out for too long because it gets dark around 5:30 pm. But the trails were groomed just before us, so we were the first on them - it was awesome. My dad wheres this funny helmet... he looks likes he is flying a fighter jet or something - it is hilarious. But the helmets really do save you in the cold, it was 12 degrees by the time we left, and with the wind blowing against us as we rode it was really cold! I love snowmobiling. I have grown up doing it. I was hoping we could take Jacks on this trip but it was way to cold. We will for sure take him before the winter is over... it just needs to warm up a little.
