We went on a hike with some friends. Its a river that comes down the mountain and forms little pools as it goes. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. The water temperature wasn't too cold. Jackson got in all the way! There were black berry bushes all along the river, so as we hiked we picked and ate. YUM! This was so much fun. Can't wait to go back again.

Moving....

I am so glad this move is over with.

Thankfully Clara's birthday present from Nana Lisa kept the kids occupied most of the time... It is a "Mini Stereo"... with a built in iPod that you download music to and then you can sing along into the microphone. It is pretty awesome. Clara loves it - her song of choice is... Justin Biebers "Baby".

They pretended like their empty shelves were bunk beds.

They wrestled in our empty apartment with friends that helped us move.

And then we moved in to our new house and realized the AC wasn't working. This is how we all slept. Fans blowing directly in our faces.

And Scott sprayed the house to get rid of all our not so welcome "spider friends".

Diving

Stake Pool Party. I have never been to a Stake Pool Party - but this was sooo much fun!

Jackson decided to go out and give it a try. He was MUCH more brave than I had imagined him to be! He started out with a few jumps, slowly adding some twists, and of course a few cannonballs. In the end he did a dive... with out any fear at all! Scott was always underneath the board ready to help him up and get him to the side.

Scott was impressing everyone with all his crazy dives - he got a lot of "oooh's" and "ahhhh's". I just about had a heart attack when his legs gave out and it looked as though he was going to land on his back on the board - but somehow he miraculously missed the board.... PURE LUCK!

This is a video of Jack doing his first jump all by himself. I love how his little body gets so into it and he moves his arms up and down to get the board to bounce a little.... so cute.

Clara turns 3 ...

I can't believe this little girl is 3 years old.... WHERE DOES THE TIME GO??????

Clara had her heart set on a "Rapunzel Party".... so a Rapunzel Party I planned.

The girls colored Rapunzel pictures on the wall, just like she does in her tower.
Each of the girls decorated a crown and got a Purple flower clip with a long braid attached, just like Rapunzel.
You can see the girls braids coming down the front of their dresses.
I tried getting pictures of Clara with each of her friends. But the last two just were not happy to stand in one place at the same time, so I only got 3... oh well... 3 it is :)

Addie & Clara.
*These 2 are quite stubborn.... too stubborn if you ask me ;)
 Clara & Audrey.
*Oh Audrey... if only you knew how often Clara asked about you, if she could go to your house, your pool, the park with you... she really does adore you.
 Allie & Clara.
*These two little girls have been asked if they are related. They both have the dark skin, brown hair, and petite bodies... they are pretty darn cute!
Opening PRESENTS!!!! Clara was not co-operating for the camera. She refused to take pictures with any of her new presents, and refused to even LOOK at Scott. Signs of a great year ahead with a 3 year old, eh?
 Singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
 Blowing out the candles!
I made these cute Pascal Party blowers.
One of Clara's friends gave her this cute Rapunzel shirt. She is obsessed. The second she saw it - she put it right on. I don't know if I will ever get it off her.
About Clara:
- She loves to sleep with her hair brush, so that she can brush her hair while she falls asleep.
- Anywhere I am, she is by my side. On the couch, she is right by my side. Eating dinner, she is fighting to sit on my lap. In the shower, she waits outside the curtain until I am done. Doing my makeup, on the counter watching me. Making dinner, standing on a chair washing the dishes/playing in the sink. Grocery shopping, on my hip. She is like my personal human growth ;)
- She hits Jackson. A lot.
- She loves BUBBLES!
- She loves oatmeal. Plain w/ a little brown sugar on top.
- She is a fish. We just took off her floaties, and I am trying to teach her how to swim. But she is constantly reminding me, that I let her drown.
- From the minute she wakes up to the minute she falls asleep - she is constantly HUNGRY. You would think that I starve her the way she says, "I'm Hungry!"... But really I feed her ALL DAY LONG.
- She loves to say prayers. And every prayer, she thanks for "her daddy be safe, my mommy be safe, my jackson be safe, my clara be safe".... maybe 2 or 3 times.
- After she goes to the bathroom, she almost always tell me, "I don't want to wipe mom, just let it dry."
- She hates to wear shoes.
- Is usually missing half of her outfit. Either the bottom or the top... take your pick. But more often than not, she is half nakee.

I love you Rosie. Please stop growing so that you can always be my baby girl!

play with dad... play like dad...

Jackson learns from the best!

Happy 4th Of July!

This years 4th of July was GO GO GO! I woke the kids up early and headed to Salt Lake for a parade that goes through my sister, Candice's neighborhood. It was a cute little parade! The kids loved collecting candy and wave at the Neffs "Farmer's Market" float.

After the parade we walked over to the Junior High where the Carnival was going on. We had snow cones, cotton candy, Chick Fil A sandwhiches, ice cream, and nacho's. The kids played tons of games and we left with cheap but "very cool" prizes!

We then headed back up to Midway for the Marshall BBQ. The BBQ followed with the Oakley Rodeo is tradition and we love getting together with all our cousins and Aunts and Uncles.

This cowboy is ready for the RODEO!!!!

As well as this cute COWGIRL!

My cute cousin McKenzie just got home from serving a LDS mission in The Ukraine. It was so fun to have her with us this year... Clara took a liking to her sweet personality.
Jackson and Marshall had a blast together! They are 2nd cousins.

AND A HUGE THANKS TO MY GRANDMA ROSE FOR MAKING THIS ALL POSSIBLE! WE LOVE YOU SOOOOOO MUCH! THANK YOU FOR THE RODEO TICKETS.
*and don't ever forget that my kids ADORE you and will never "forget" you!

Randall Cousins in UT

Most of Scott's family was in UT for the 4th of July. We were able to see them a couple times...

The kids enjoyed a fun movie night in Kristen & Garrets bed!

The kids had so much fun swimming at the Lifetime Fitness pool!
